Hey i have a problem when i try to overclock my 3570K when i try to push it past 4,5 Ghz or just ad more than 1.25 volt it turns down to 1,6 Ghz when i'm booted
The only way i can get it back to another frequence is to take out the power cable for 10 sec and boot again.
Have any one tryed something similar?

If you want it to stay at 4.5ghz all the time then disable E1ST in the bios and as said above, 1.6ghz is the clock speed at idle, as soon as it gets under load it will go up to 4.5ghz

Make sure your Windows power plan is set to high performance.
Also, what are your load temps like at 1.25v? I know that my 3770K doesn't like anything north of 1.22v or it starts heating the house up real good.

1,6GHz is Idle Frequenzy, put your CPU under load and it should raise.

well that's the problem it don't :/ i use prime 95 small FFt's but it stays at 1,6 Ghz
