Yes ladies and gents this is a e4300 at 3.7GHz.

I'm not sure they can actually go much higher then that.

I run this on a Mach II GT

with crucial ballistix tracer @ 1131

Wonder if I could run 4GB at that though...bah anyways this is a over 100% OC so its pretty amasing.

I'm not eligible for the contest but i'll still leave it there for you guys to enjoy :p

If you ever make the contest available for North America let me know.

I wouldn't mind paying the shipping.

(Wonder how far I could OC a Q6600 hehe...)

I'm still wondering what my next CPU will be.

Q6600 or e6850 ...

I'll upload the before pic today ASAP to be eligible for the contest.

Wrong country Schwarz, you might want to read the full rules, it's only for Europe................:D .

Entry is limited to the following countries: UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Austria.

Bah... thanks for the headsup Bio.

Guess i'll leave my entry for the fun of it... ugh

BTW how you been Bio.

I know you don't come by the forums anymore cause of somethings that happened.

But I hope everything is going well with you !

Anyways your one of the few that took its e4300 above me.

And without phase change too...amasing...

(BTW sucks the contest is not available in Canada we are owned by the Queen afterall :p)

Nice, any chance we can have a stock cpu-z image and validation plz :)

yes i can, i make this tomorow if you want :worship:

But my DFi P965-S die after bench under liquid nitrogen, also i can make validation at stock with my Asus Blitz Formula :D

probably something to do with the multiplier being read wrongly or something :)

The stock frequency are 23x133 = 3060Mhz :yumyum:

werty is from Canada like me I believe.

Or anyways in NA.

So we aren't eligible.

Would be nice though got my e4300 at 3.7

If you can cut the CPUz screenshot down so its just the CPUz window and edit it into your post then that should be ok

I will be away from my PC for two weeks. I am sorry I can't post a stock CPU-z picture and valid link. I have saved CPU-Z verified links I will use. llwyd said this to be acceptable so thank you! I wish I could re-do right now without pushing the RAM.

it doesnt have to be stable...

all u have to do is just post a screenshot of it up and validated.

I already did on post #10. It booted into windows. I tried to go a tiny bit further but it wouldnt budge so I maxed @ 3.38ghz. But I may be ordering some watercooling on thursday so I might be able to push it further when I recieve the kit. (I Hope)

Id love to even have a quad core or to get my cpu to 3.7ghz LOL. Count yourself lucky. These AMD cpus suck at overclocking.

It is a weird competition. If enough people hear about it and enter this is what will happen.

1)No AMD CPU or Quad Core will win.

2)A Core 2 Duo CPU with a x9 multi will win (E6600/E6700) Probably water or ln2 on E6700

3)Air Cooling stands no chance. Water will win. Hope to god no ln2 comes along because then no one stands a chance.

4)It will be tons of FSB by a high-end P35/X38/680i mobo (ABIt-IP35-PRO/GIGABYTE-GA-P35-DS3R/DS4/ASUS p5k/ASUS Blitz/ASUS Maximus Formula/eVGA 680i)

5)Your nice MIcronD9GMH or GKX RAM won't matter as people take it out of the equation to clock the CPU

I entered above so please post me and thanks.

The AMD CPUs dont suck at OCing at all. I got my 3000+ to 2.9ghz @ 1.7v. Its just on how much volts your willing to put throuhg your CPU. Ill be getting my new 5600+ up there when i get a new DFI board.
