OPSYS Gaming

Hi I don't know how to go about it but you guys need to do an article on this -

Opsys Gaming (www.opsys.co.uk) have gone bust, but there is no official announcement on social media but Companies house has the owner Liam Moore marked as resigned, and the website is no longer taking orders. His Linkedin profile also looks now to be disabled/deleted. Customers have taken to social media to voice their concerns and complaints.

Opsys have been taking orders right back as far as December last year but not shipping some, and refusing to allow customers a refund because "it's a custom build". I think this is valid if you're, for example painting a portrait or making someone a custom wedding dress, when time and raw materials are involved and used that cannot be recovered if a customer changes their mind. Typically people will take a deposit to cover this. We all know this is not the case with PC components, and Opsys are blatantly exploiting the "custom" element of their computers (letting customers choose the parts they want) and using this to leverage a no refunds policy. Trouble sourcing computer components does not qualify. Customers are out of pocket thousands of pounds and have been strung along for months.

Five minutes on Trustpilot and their Facebook page, you can see customers going as far back as December who still haven't received their order - some of them are computers worth several thousands of pounds. One customer it looks like they returned their PC for an upgrade and they have not received it back.

Opsys are saying an ex employee is responsible for a cyber attack in July, which is absurd because their issues date back as far, possibly even further than last December. They are also blaming a lack of allocation of graphics cards from Nvidia. The whole thing reads to me like a load of excuses and the whole thing stinks of mis-management and someone who is trying to save face.

Sorry if this is the wrong section but I felt I needed to bring this to attention, there are a lot of people out of pocket that have been strung along and now they have gone bust I thought you guys should be aware of it.
