Hi Guys

My work has recently purchased a new server and given me there old HP Ml150 Xeon based server. Now I have of course taken it and was wondering what I could do with it in the home, ideas so far,

Build a HTPC/Media Streamer
Make it a NAS Device

Any suggestions or should I just dump it?

It would be nice to make use of it, it currently has SBS 2003 installed on it but happy to play around with it.

First things to check would be how loud it is and how much power it uses running 24/7. If you run a server 24/7 energy cost can pile up.

Will have to look at that for sure, not sure if I can be bothered with it just yet, just getting ideas to see if it's actually worth it!

If its the one I'm thinking of, don't bother. Does it look like this?:
