Official OC3D Fallout 4 Thread

I gave up on the main quests as I got bored. Instead I've been digging around the game map to see what I can find.

There must have been some sort of underwater/waterworld esque element planned. There is no way they've made the seabed/wrecks that detailed for immersion. That harpoon gun also backs my point up.

i started walking across the sea bottom in my power armor spent about 30 minutes before i actually drowned.

some of the items down there between the castle and lighthouse are very well detailed i did find a treasure chest with a 50 cal sniper rifle and really nice hand cannon. there is also pots down there with caps in them if you search enough but i did not find a single enemy unless there gonna be added with a dlc..

one note if you want to explore more get the breath under water and no rad perks :D

Exploring really is the best of the game. I've just been aimlessly wandering about for ages now, it's just so easy to lose hours and hours as a result.

Now that you mention it, I have the perk that lets you breathe underwater, I should go check out the sea-bed. ^_^

I still need to pick a faction to side with in the main quest, I'll probably end up picking the Brotherhood of Steel, a jetpack for the power armor sounds pretty sweet.

Has anyone played the Silver Shroud quests?

I just couldn't stop laughing at the dialogue options upon choosing "Speak as the Shroud". Well worth checking out. :D

Right so I got bored and decided to have a wander, as we do. And I found what I think is by far the most powerful rifle in the game, word of warning you are going to need RadX, Med kits, power armor and some fire power to get it but it's soooo worth the fight.

First here is the Locale.

Stick around that area and you'll be greeted with a Legendary King Rad Scorpion and a couple of standard scorps maybe even a Death Claw or 2 but still worth it, it's the Legendary Scorp that has the Rail Gun.

As far as specs go it's a base model with damage of 195!!! and I immediately set to upgrading and well it's a monster weapon, be warned it requires loads of Aluminium and screws.. but just look at it!

Also be aware that not many merchs sell the ammo for it so use it wisely.

Nice find! Maybe use the make ammo mod to make more for it?

Do I need to run nmm whilst running the game? I'm a first time user. I presume I have to start the game through the manager?

Some of the placement of items really confuse me in this game...

But it can also look very pretty at times, mainly in the storms!

must do quest for the silver shroud underclothes, easily one of the best in game

I only played with the new patch, and am at the start of the game and getting a solid 60. That will likely change later on.

Got the cryolator, now I need ammo lol
