I personally think u can only really go by experience with psus. If u havent got the experience, u have to lean on the experience of others, poll it all together and take some things with a pinch of salt. If the same names keep coming up time and again, from trusted quarters, meh.

Only getting a psu/manuf in u`r rig and giving it months/years can u qualify a good/bad make.

Course if it doesn`t make a week... but then every manuf in the world get a duff item now and again. Then u give the replacment a change - not immediately spout that xyz are shizzle.

Have no experience of PCP&C myself, but it`s plain to me their psus are luxury items. I would expect 2nd to none service too with the package.

(I got 3 Silverpowers in the house, each a different model, lasted years, and extremely reasonable priced... guess the first manuf I`m gonna look up next time I buy. I have Hipers that have done the same, and peoples I trust the opinion of will suggest alternatives if I can`t find what I want. - that`s how it goes.)

maybe i am quick to judge, but first impresions, when it comes to psu's, mean a lot to me...so if i get a duff one, it is because the company hasnt done a good enough job weeding the duff ones out, so they loose a customer, they can only get better from that i guess though

OCZ PSUs are solid tbh, and this is an acquisition, not a merger, there will still be OCZ and PCP&C PSUs, both of high quality and both with good distribution. OCZ know PCP&C make fantastic PSUs, their only downfall is their marketing, which OCZ can do wonders for.

And yes, from our POV, stocking OCuk with their PSUs is a shame, but from their POV, it's the right thing to do since they are a massive e-tailer, OCZ are not even slightly responsible for OCuks aftersales service, a sale is a sale and a sale is profit. Which is good for the company in the long run and by extension, good for us.

Meh, I`ve moved away from that train of thought. I know warehouses. I know bois in warehouses. I know forktruck drivers. I know loaders. I know delivery guyz. I know drivers.

In between all that routine, there`s a fair bit of rugby, football, twister, and the odd bit of downright stoopidity.
