Think its more to it than that. Over pronate shoes for you would seriously f**k up your feet immensly. Imagine a painful force on the inside of your feet for badly provided supports![]()
Well I am 47 and I have been wearing Nike Air for 30 years and they eliminate the problem. The problem is that I have scooped out feet, which tilt inward as I walk unless supported.
The bottom, simple line is that Nike Air have always made it much easier and pretty much pain free to walk, yet flat shoes or trainers (like for skateboarding so think Airwalk, DC etc) are fine for riding in but if I put any weight on my feet my ankles ache.
It's not my feet that particularly cause me any pain. It is my ankles.
