OC3D VR Owners Thread

Your money your choice, Personally I couldn't justify 10% extra performance over the 3080 for double the price.

Yeah I know, I want one but my needs outweigh that. I think after the results ill turn my attention to the 4000 series from AMD. My 7700k Is getting dated now.

Only reason I havent moved in is because its one of the best looking motherboards out there with the built in monoblock from Bitspower.

Is it an AsRock board? Some have modded Coffee Lake support for those. ;)

Very pretty! I think it is doable on Maximus Extreme too, but very much officially unsupported. :D

Its quite a good performer also. The drawback however is that it doesnt have any A-RGB.. wait a minute. Scrap that, consider that a massive positive!!! :D

Well I suppose I just improved my case - thought I'd skip the NZXT smart device and power the ARGB strip straight from mobo - as it turns out, pin order was different and I burned the strip.

Oh no

Oh no

So you plugged an A RGB into a standard RGB connector and pump alot of volts through the wrong pin in the strip :D

Came across this. Looks hilariously silly to use

On further investigation it seems that the plug just needed to be flipped - but due to the holding clip there was only clearance to stick it in the wrong way.
So yeah blasted a comm rail with 12V.

Those shoes look like something which could be replaced by a pair of roller skates and some sensors. :D

those shoes, couple with MSI back pack PC and a valve index kit... Now strap them together and go skating down a street shooting zombies :D :D :D

"Why do you rent out a parking lot for weekends?"

"It's a VR thing, you wouldn't understand..."
