Had a little break from SC due to my account going bye bye, My own fault, Totally forgot to put 2FA on and apparently SC accounts get hacked all the time, Yay me.

Bought the basic package and also flew a friends 600i, Beauty of a ship.

Mate nothing wrong with necroing the thread as SC is still an ongoing thing LOL, and yes the 600 is beautiful and will be even better after its rework!

Funny, I just reinstalled this. Still have no idea where to start. But was pleased to see a tutorial has finally been added. Shame I CTD when I try to run it!

The ambience of Orison. I mixed together multiple sounds from leaves to ships and a small amount of minor background sounds along with the theme of Orison for a nice zen scene.

Ran at 4K max settings.

Do they still do account resets on major updates?

Yep, Roughly every 3-6 months but until server meshing is implemented it's required, PES was finally put in not long ago, Persistent entity streaming i.e items stay where you put them.

Server meshing is well under way and in the final steps although it's a HUGE undertaking as with it they are also introducing wormhole travel to a new star system which will also come with new gameplay and mechanics, Lots of really neat stuff incoming.

Good to know. I think I will start getting into this. Diablo IV was a waste of my time. Most repetitive nonsense ever.

I did the process lasso tweaks mentioned in this video and wise memory optimizer which frees up ram for the game, Genuinely seemed to work, I used the basic free version of process lasso, No need for the paid pro version.

I used process lasso to put all other processes on my non 3D cache CCD and the game on the 3D cache CCD, seems to have smoothed things out a little.

Its nice to see a game really hammering the CPU :)

First mission completed, was walking for about 5 minutes when I picked up my first package, didn't really you could walk faster by scrolling the mouse wheel (I thought it must be a heavy gravity planet :) :) ) Also thought you could only warp drive between locations in space, but good to know you can warp drive also to the place your visiting on the planet from orbit.

Not bad game so far, will do some more missions and see if it gets more interesting.

My username is "microdisiac"

Edit: Also ram usage seemed to be at around 28 Gigs out of my 32 available during some points in the game !!

I'd be down to group up with a few folk, not had that shared experience yet as solo play is pretty poor.
