Hi all,

Had this thread all done but closed the wrong window and it all went bye bye.

So without typing all the specs again I will just introduce to you

Star Citizen

Most gamers will know the fantastic looking space sim due in 12 months so I name my new beat in its honour.

In some of the pics you might see someone you know...do anything for some advertising :)

The Air 540 is really such a nice case. I think I might take the suggestion of TTL and get some white light for the inside.

I still have to get some back plates and my filter set is on its way. Feel free to make comments and suggestions.

Cheers all.

System Specs:
i7 4770K
ASUS Maximus VI Formula
32gig Corsair Dominator platinum
Corsair AX1200i PSU
2 GTX 780 Ti
H100i Water Cooling
2 Samsung EVO 250GB Raid 0
Samsung EVo 750GB
Windows 8.1
SP Fans
Razor Peripherals (all green)

Nice build, insane SSD storage, that must have cost a bomb. I assume the front fans are AF fans and the ones on the rad are SP?

Nice build, however by the time star citizen comes out there will be much faster cheaper cards than the 780ti, so I wouldn't have done this just yet :P I am going to wait until maxwell/whatever AMD brings to upgrade for star citizen.

Also star citizen will support mantle so you would be quite silly not to get AMD cards (or nvidia cards that support it later in the future) if you will be playing star citizen a substantial amount of the time.

star citizen is bothering with both camps quite a lot, it won't make a huge lot of a difference when it releases + mantle has still not delivered anything, so i'd be careful with such statements.

also the dogfighting module is due in 3 weeks, so he will get to enjoy the game with his current setup, which is a very nice rig btw.

if maxwell is going to release in Q1/2 2014 then there is a good chance that the improved version of maxwell will release close to SC release, so that's my current plan.

According to a lot of rumours AND the fab plants its going to be more like Q3 if its 20/22nm.
All our systems will be utter crap and need replacing come this time next year anyway.

Simple yet beautiful! I loved the look of the 540 as soon as I saw it on camera, But I couldn't hold out any longer and ended up getting a 650d!

Massive airflow, how loud is she?

it's all rumors, who knows what happens. but it would be a great PR move to release the 9xx series and the 4xx series around the time SC releases.
anyways, going off topic here.
