Hello Lads

I was just wondering whether everyone received the latest OC3D newsletter. There has been some talk of members not receiving it in their inbox, anyone else experienced this?

news as in product news or site news ie.downtime and whatnot?

if you mean those emails then yea lol

cheers

although its not the emails your talking about, when i reply in a thread and subscribe to it (so i get an email sent to me when someone replies). I will get no emails for a couple of weeks, then i'll get 5, 10 and sometimes about 15 emails from vairous threads that people have replied in about week and half ago.

hope you understand what im on about as it's a friday afternoon.

Yeah but there is a part when you subsribe that allows you to choose the frequency of the notifications. You can get instant notifications by e-mail :)

when was it sent as i might have gotten it.

EDIT:

may 1st 2006 11:58 (local time +1 hour) i received a news letter that started like this.

and this
Hello valued OC3D member,

It has been a while since the OC3D newsletter has been sent out, but rest assured that the Administration of OC3D forum have decided to maintain a consistant circulation schedule in order to keep you updated.

First and foremost, some of you may not be aware that the old SX (SysXtreme) has received a well overdue facelift, and is now known as the OC3D Forum http://www.overclock3d.net. The decision was made to change both the look/feel and direction of the forum in order to concentrate our resources directly at providing you the user, with not only the avenue for sourcing out the latest review gear but also with an avenue to talk with other users just as passionate about overclocking and hardware. Also our dedicated news team are currently busy covering the latest in industry gossip, or giving you the user the lead on what technology or gear we can expect in the short/ long term.

Leading on from the big changes at OC3D, we would also like to make you aware of the affiliation we have with SpecialTech http://www.specialtech.co.uk/. SpecialTech are the PC enthusiasts kind of e-tailer, Steve and the guys currently have a great deal going for OC3D members only. Free shipping for all UK members regardless of the price be quick and jump on this promotion as it's only currently available for two (2) weeks, and there are some stipulations. You can find out about it here http://forum.overclock3d.net/showthread.php?t=4157

For those of us non-UK members SpecialTech also caters for us by shipping internationally, and the prices are really competitive.

For those of you who are signed up to IDNET through the deal we had with Simon, we're sure you are enjoying the low latency/ high quality internet service provided by this reputable ISP. Be sure to drop by the OC3D forum and let us know how you're getting on. For those of you who aren't with IDNET they can be found here http://www.idnet.co.uk/

Further, we have some excellent reviews being conducted at OC3D namely PSU's and aftermarket cooling, but there are some more expected very shortly covering some serious hardware. There will also be some competitions made available exclusively to OC3D members, so make sure you get back to OC3D to be in the running for some great prizes. And these are the kind of prizes that you'd really kick yourself for missing out on.

Thank you for your time, and be sure to visit real soon.
