Yeah it was crazy, I'm hoping it's just because it's there that it can use that much and not because it needs to otherwise we are going to need new GPU's like next month for new games ^_^

Woah, I just went to OCUK to see the 1080ti range because I thought AIB partner cards weren't going to be available until April. Well, I did it. I laughed out loud on the Internet over something that's not supposed to be funny. Like, I laughed properly. Not one of those 'LOL' moments where you grin slightly; I fully laughed. £860 for a single GPU card. What a time we live in.

It's probably not using most of it. Most of it is probably cached/committed for future use. If the extra memory is there, why not use it? And if you are gonna use it, why not have it ready much faster? How I see it.

I can only imagine how much the 1080 Ti Classified is going to be XD

Nope, I have the 1080 Ti FE and also have a waterblock ready for it, Just have to find the spare time to fit it all, Fit the tubing, Res/pump, Rad etc...

TechPowerUp released a review of the 1080ti Strix and it performs incredibly well. It's a huge jump over the 980ti even more than the 980ti was over the 780ti.

Maxed out settings at 2560x1440.

My 980 ti uses 5.5gbs-6gbs of mem on those setting. Hopefully today I can get my 2 installed and see what it does maxed out on 4k....

Nvidia says 1080ti on the card, but it refers 1080 Titanium so I really don't know.
