Here are two pics, one before the 7850 went in, one after. Obviously, cable management still needs some work, and I can't stress enough the need for a modular PSU. I was greedy, so I opted for a higher wattage rating normal PSU over a lower wattage modular one, and now I am paying the price. In all honesty, I chose the TX850 because I want a quiet PC and I am thinking a high wattage PSU that is only at around 50% load stays nice and quiet, also has a longer and less problem prone life. Anyway, pics...

yes, the modular will offer better cable management, but the Midi has plenty
of back panel space to handle that bundle. some cable extensions would
help the EPS shortness. and tidy them all up in the back of the motherboard
tray.

ive got a TX750 (trying to score a GS700) id like to make a guide on the
Midi and tidiness.

I bought myself a define mini a few months back and built a quiet mATX gaming rig in it, gorgeous looking case, but its time for some improvements... first time modder though, wish me luck

welcome to the forums.
you'll need a "host" that can store the pix and you "link" from there to here.
photobucket, imageshack, or any of the many free sites. when you import from
your PC to the host, choose a suitable size (1024x768) and then upload them.
once there, on OC3D we have a link tool. this tool allows you to copy/paste the
image link to OC3D. then when finsihed posting, click submit post. now your image
is available to all OC3D and all search engines.

Well I just had some minor issues fitting the Corsair H100i in the top because of the heatsink on my motherboard, but besides that it is a good case with plenty of room in it. Thank you for the welcome

Hi guys! For a Christmas present I bough myself Fractal Arc Mini, as this was my very first complete build, the case really made it easy for noob like me.

I left the extra cables as they are, because my white sleeving (paracord ), just arrived, so I'll sleeve them this weekend.

for giggles, you might take the rear exhaust fan and mount it in the front panel.
it'll cut down on internal dust and allow your HDD to keep cool, too.

More like 12 of the 24pins lol,I sleeved few cables on a old PSU I have, and my enthusiasm died quickly I'll move the rear fan when I take my PSU out, because all the cables are tied down firmly at the back.

i did an HX PSU and that was nearly an angry experience. just couldn't get the
right "look" in the PSU area. they looked awesome, but still a jumble of sleeved
wires. the back tray looked great and to the devices, fantastic, but that PSU area.

i think next time i'll build a PSU shield and tether from there. or splurge and opt
for AX or another silverstone modular. i like the silverstone because when the fan
is up, the 24-pin is closest to the tray, unlike the corsair/seasonic. the 24-pin
power cable traverses the PSU and tries to garble the PSU area.

I was wondering, will it look good, if I sleeve only half the cables, or so and zip tie/heatshrink the hidden end in the original sleeving, because when I eventually put window on the side panel, I want it only over the MB areal, hiding the HDD trays and the PSU.

yeah, good idea. sleeve only after the motherboard tray. leave the rest in braid or
a better covering.

i took my cages out.. i use a boot SSD, external USB drive and network for storage.
