OC3D Downloads

While browsing this website, I found the OC3D downloads page (http://www.overclock3d.net/downloads). Apparently it was created four years ago with the intent of being an easy way to download popular files, however never really came to life. It is supposed to be a work in progress, but 4 years is one hell of a process :D. I was just wondering is this is actually going to come to life, or just stay there as an abandon place. If the latter applies, wouldnt it be better to remove it? It does seem like a cool idea, and I'd love to use it if it worked (currently all links on there refer to nothing)

We've got loads of out of date things like that on the main site and the forums themselves.

Things like that we may look to re-do at any time, and suggestions are always appreciated if you do thing something would be good.

Also, things like that make perfect sticky threads since they can be edited far easier to be kept up to date. I'll bring your attention to this thread:

That never really took off, but it still remains, if people have good ideas for things like that, you're more than welcome to take it upon yourselves to do.

Edit: I will also add that when the site is finally re-done, hopefully things like that will be updated. The 'about us' page is a prime example: http://www.overclock3d.net/about

I've seen that thread before and it would be good if there was a downloads thread, but I dont really think that I, personally, would be the best at keeping that going. Especially with my limited software knowledge/experience. Thanks for the reply :D

I for one would help out with the downloads, if there could be a group of members who are willing to contribute to helping maintain and keep things up to date there, or even create link to a new forum for software and links to them, then again the links maintained by a group of members, also then it would be able to have submissions by the other members.

That qould be great, and even if keeping links updated is too hard, just name of the software would be enough, really. Its all about keeping people up to date with the best software for them to use.
