OC3D Clan/Server future. (was: wtf?)

I PM'd Chefinal and he got back to me pretty quick.
I couldn't get the main page to load. I had to go in through http://www.tlr-clan.co.uk/index.php?page=forums

If it gets sorted I hope you have learnt your lesson. If I suck eveybody knows I suck, I dont change my name to save face. Sometimes (most) in my case there are way better players on the server, and sometimes you are just plain unlucky - spawn die from nade etc.
Anyway hope it gets sorted. Silver lining is that at least we know the ban works ok .

ok Sorry people . I have finally management to get into the right section. I am working on the servers to bring you what you need so if people list the things you want for the servers.
CSS Servers - We just changed the 32 man server into a gun game server as you have previously had and have installed mani admin and also hlstats for the server. I also own 2 more 2 man CSS servers if people have ideas for what you would want on them. As well as this i have no problems adding responsible people to the admin of the servers.
Cod4 servers - As i can see we have 1 server thats very popular and another that doesn't really get effected. If people have ideas for the second server for what mode and maps you would like on there then i am willing to work on doing this for you. If there are any mods or any scripts you want adding or recommended admins systems like mani for CSS , people can suggest then again it would be a good idea to add them.

Theres a million and one threads about what people would like to be changed that us mods have started.
Getting rid of nade spammers and gl are a must for me one of the reasons i stopped playing/admining that and moving house no broadband and silly central heating taking the power out.
P.S that and getting the oc3d name back in the server discription would be nice youd be amazed at how many people have wondered where its gone.

Hello mate, glad to have you here.
I have just been on and noticed a couple of strange things happening. We had a hacker on, I noticed him and asked him a couple of questions when went to send him a message to turn off aimbot I noticed he had my name / hash and ip details after his name - meaning if i kicked him i kicked me and likewise for ban etc. The only thing he did not have was my score.
I am now scanning my whole system as a precaution.
First ensure PB is enabled!!!
Whilst I was on there was a lot of complaints about GL and Marty as well as 3xgrenades so I think we could start by turning them off.
I will not be on until I am fully certain I am safe.
The guy hacking was called LW|Zo0rky or something.

Tbh I play COD4 a fair bit nowadays, but I dont play on this TLR server, simply because it doesnt have the OC3D community feel :cuddle:.
The other reason is I have crappy pings pretty much anywhere, and I go for the lowest pingers (~90 is good for me

Yeah we should definitely have an OC3D night. Funnily enough I've been talking with PV about arranging something big for OC3D's 3rd B'day. But we should get something regular going too.
I'd like to get back into playing CSS tbh. I do like COD4, but it seems to be full of people spraying and getting the top scores rather than the skill of CSS.
Another thing i'd considered is maybe setting up a server based on a free game. Something like Trackmania - fairly small download, a laugh to play, everyone on equal ground.
What y'all think?
