OC3D Clan/Server future. (was: wtf?)

I though TLR guy was the chief admin.

Although TLR are indeed admin'ing some of our existing servers, there is nothing to say that we cant set up some more servers, mod existing ones still under OC3D's control or cohabit with TLR on the ones under their name

If i had the knowledge, you would have a candidate, but alas, I'm not so hot on that stuff.

Catching cheaters, and telling people off is definitely something I could do. It would even give me a reason to get back into CS:S. Your server was the main reason I joined here actually.

I shall wait to see if we get a new head guy and apply then.

I would be up for admin duties, I would not be able to full time admin for a couple of reasons, time being one , minimalistic experience / knowledge or RCON (I can get by) and the third is I have tried a few times to get my chat working but my router or whatever is causing the problem refuses to cooperate.

I hope we get this sorted. Jim a PM is on its way soon.

Hi all! a bit too late in the conversation but....

Maybe i am a bit new here and a stranger to most of you! But also some know me from the cod server. The prob mentioned is that ppl r talking in serbian, croatian etc. I have told jim a couple of times that I would love to be an admin (and beeing that I am a Croat I can understand the language and thus if it is polite or not) but he never even said no! He completly ignores me... I know that the current admins would back me up cos they know how helpful Ive been. And u should really get the original OC3D name back on the server! TLR is so .... lame.... Thats all!

its not that he ignores you (as it happens to me too..well i hope not ) but he is a very busy bloke and gaming is not the first thing on his mind.

Went searching for the GG servre, it is now a dust2 24/7 server. Sad times. Had to take to stabbing up people on DM.

You really get some... special players on DM, It seemed that whatever i killed people with I was a X-noob. Including a knife-noob and a glock-noob. I particularly enjoyed it as the main guy was camping with an awp/deagle setup.

I know what you are saying BARANAC, and yes you are on a lot but it is an "English" speaking server, so people will be warned to speak English or leave. I am now more fluent with my foreign swear words so warn before kicking, to give them a chance.

Jim will probably not get back to you - he is too busy and as I am sure you will understand he probably gets a lot of PM's every day, so may not have time to get back to you.

Threats to the server itself result in an immediate ban as has happened lately.

If you want to help you could start by letting those on the server know to speak english or not chat.

I also think we should consider turning Marty off, - I know it has been mentioned before, but I think we could give it a try. The server name on both servers says TLR CLAN with no mention of overclock.

I think a mention should be there somewhere (TLR-OC3D) server.

I also think we could do no harm by having server 2 mirror what Northern Monkeys server does, it is quite refreshing to play on their server, now and again.

OC3D should be advetised MORE than TLR as it is OC3D server

For gods sake get rid of silly maps outta the rotation lol (killhouse?)

and have TLR actually done anything other than change the server name (not meanin to be rude)

Hey guys... The moded server is a great idea in my opinion but now that TLR runs it I dont think itll happen cos they give even less care to the server than u used to )

P.S. Can anyone PLEASE help me out?? nepas accidently banned me the other day (as Im sure he will confirm) and now I cant get in!!! Can anyone remove the ban!? I was using the name Haxxor...

I think it is only a temp ban? I must admit I had noticed you change your name to that during a match?

FYI - I was a little fed up of nade spamming today and have turned FF on for the shooter only. Currently some love it - some are really confused and some want it off as they keep on dying :0).

Killhouse is a bundle of laughs with it on now as well, especially with a full server. Killhouse is good when its empty but full is a nightmare (I try to make it knives only )

I do not know if TLR are even monitoring the server? I have seen some T* guys on there but no TLR.

I have been on a fair bit lately, and a few people know I am admin so its starting to get there a bit.

My RCON chat is still being a burst though?

Nope! Its a permanent ban. I asked him to kick a couple of cheaters with name changing hack. So I told him to ban the two with the insaine high score and I got the message "Player kicked" At the same moment I got a mess on MSN from Nepas sayin. Ijust banned a guy named Haxxor! WTF? Thats me... and now I am Permanently banned. Any way to remove it?

I use the name sometimes! Mostly when I suck xD
