Oh and quick side note, Remember not to cut off the 4 x small pegs, 2 x on each side on the rear :P

Don't worry, I'll not do something so silly. It needs to attach somehow. Will print the second one on Monday. That will give you two to mess with.

I'll print slower with the second and with a lower layer height. No real reason aside from simply wanting to see what the quality difference looks like (if it will at all).

I expect to see pictures once you start using these.

Much appreciated, I got a tripod for my little Samsung camera so I'll take a fair few pics ^_^

Looking forward to it. Just got back from the post office. It should be with you in a few days.

I sent two of them, one with 0.2mm layer height and one with 0.16mm layer height at a lower speed. I'm curious if the difference is noticeable to you. I can barely tell the difference.

1.6mm? or 0.16?

0.16. I'd need a much bigger nozzle for 1.6mm.

Wow, a Nozzle size of 2mm would be necessary, which would require thicker 3mm filament etc. Now that would be insane...

yeah, I thought you had found some industrial sized behemoth of a nozzle :D

Awesome sauce, I shall post pics once I've done some cleaning up on them :)

Well my uncle just phoned me to let me know the package arrived, Seriously fast from Northern Ireland to southern England, Less than 24 hours.

I'll be going round to his tomorrow evening quickly and then finally back to my place, Currently my entire apartment building is being fumigated hence why it got delivered to my uncles place so I'll put up pics later tomorrow night when I go back home :)

Wow. I did send it Royal Mail first class, but that is excellent service. Glad to hear that you got them so quickly.

Change of plans due to apartment building still being fumigated, Has to be tomorrow instead of today, They were meant to be finished by today but I will post pics once I have cleaned and sanded them, Thank you very much WYP :)

I'm not sure you should sand them. I would use a kit to polish and smooth it instead. Since the layering I assume is horizontal, and low poly being many angular panels, something like this could make it really pop out..

I may then just clean up the edges and leave it at that for a while then until I get my hands on this stuff :)

Yeah because the partial pic from WYP is showing a pretty good quality finish on it. Would be a shame to lose that. Once you start sanding black, it will go grey.

Well fumigating was done on time so I got the package from my uncles place and went home, Opened it up, Very nicely done WYP !

I spent about 2 hours cleaning it up, I used a small bit of high grit sand paper on some edges with LOTS of water, No greying of edges thankfully.

After that I found some 3-Part Novus Plastic Scratch Remover I bought 4 years ago for my Corsair Air 540's acrylic side window which arrived with a lot of scratches, 1st step is a heavy scratch remover, 2nd step is a light scratch remover and 3rd step is polishing, I'm not sure if this is as good or the same as the product you posted Warchild but it worked very well.

All in all I spent around 1 hour using these products on the faceplate with a microfibre cloth, Washing it off between each application, I did 4 of each.

Overall I think it turned out pretty nice, Now I just need to find tiny magnets to glue into the 4 x little pegs so it stays on the index.
