what advantage does this frunk have over the default one anyway?

Purely aesthetic but when my Chilldex arrives I'll be using a vented frunk plate to let air in, Many who have used it say it gets rid of fogging on long plays and keeps your face cooler.

Printed a tool holder, but modded it to attach to an IKEA shelf where my printer is resting.

And took a ceiling mount and remixed it to suit my needs. Added a threaded hole in the top of the Eye, and flattened the base with a different eye to easily slide a Carabiner through. This allows me to put the VR cable high when im sat at my desk immobile.

It's big enough for everything except for the base. I could print things at a 90-95% scale, but even then that head would take days to print.

Right now I can't print overnight, so the max print time I can offer is 14 hours per print. It's a difficult order. I can't do it ATM.

Cooleo I shall shop around :)

Does your printer support power loss?

You can simply switch it off and resume in the morning. Just add a post script to redo a layer and it should go well.

I dont think you can scale it though. Scaling down means the thread is altered. So you have to match the shaft and head bust with the same scaling to allow it to screw together. Im impressed the Ender 3 can handle 90-95% though. I had to drop it to 75% to fit.

I just checked online and various places want £100 per item, So £300 for the full thing, I think I'll just buy a basic VR holder from Amazon for £25 XD

Based on what I saw from CURA, the material cost alone is over 1KG of PLA. Even if nothing goes wrong, the material cost is well over £20.

For me it just takes too long to print. There is nowhere in my house where I can keep it without disturbing anyone for such a long print.

haha on my current settings with 0.2 nozzle

To print just the head.

If I print the head in one go it would take me over two days with my current settings.

Whenever I next move house, I'm getting a place with more space...

I use 3d Hubs for work jobs if you need a service for something else later at some point, I'm not sure what their single unit pricing is like competitively, but their multi unit or bulk pricing is the best I've seen around in the UK. Their pricing for PETG is quite good, seems to be the best "price/perf" material when buying online, pretty durable but usually cheaper than ABS and not toooo much more than PLA.

Appreciated, I tried using that site but they keep asking for my work email address, I've tried putting in my email address but according to them it's not valid for whatever reason.

Ahh that's a shame, I think I've used my gmail address for checking quotes at some point before but I've used my company domain for any orders.

Designed and made myself a nice convenient Gnurled Nut and Bolt since its impossible to get decent ones for the Hotas attaching to any mount.
