NZXT Phantom, H100, Ram Placement

I am wondering if Mushkin ridgeback ram would fit in an nzxt phantom with a Corsair H100 in push pull configuration.

I read that only ram with large heatsinks give problems. I found out from youtube that Corsair Dominator and vengeance ram doesn't work and that they are above 50 mm high.

On the Mushkin website they say that ram with ridgeback heatsinks is 40 mm high.

I am looking to build a red system with the redline ram. Does anyone know if I can fit the Ridgeback ram or do I have to settle for the frostbyte?

Depends on a hand full of things, among others the width of your case.

Do you own the RAM already?

Generally a H100 mounts in the top of tha case, so if you have the right case, the RAM and cooler will never even get close to each other.

If you want some real advice you're probably going to have to tell us a few more things about your build, so people can better understand where you're going and give definitive advice.

no it shouldn't even touch at all, but push pull with a h100 in a phantom is a more better question.....

I haven't bought any of the components yet. I am looking to build a red rig.

The case would be a NZXT phantom Red.

An intel core i7 3930k

Asus Rampage IV extreme.

OCZ 1000W PSU

AMD 7970 (XFX)

Corsair force GT 120gb SSD

Corsair H100

Mushkin redline ridgeback or frostbyte (ridgeback if possible)
