NZXT H440 Air Flow Opinion

Hey guy's,

I recently bought a NZXT H440, still waiting for it to arrive, but in the meantime I have a dilemma.

Right now I have a Cooler Master Storm Enforcer with 2 x Corsair AF120's in the front sucking air in. 2 x Corsair AF120's in the top sucking air out and a H60 with 2 x Corsair SP120's in push pull sucking in air from the back.

Now that I am going with a quite/ silent case, should I ditch the fans in the roof and just let hot air escape naturally, or do you think I still need them there?

Put 3 in the front maybe? Then just keep the H60 p/p config in the rear and have one in the roof on a speed reducer(as said above). Would create a positive pressure inside the chasis and still maintain silent levels(provided your ears aren't sensitive).

Well 3 fans in front, 2 on the rad as it is in the current state p/p, and then the extra fan in the top. That config will expel heat well. Only the 2 in the rear will do the job just not as well.

You'll need speed reducers if you're planning on using the stock fans. They don't make much motor noise, just lots of noise of air moving. If you remove the front dust filter this reduces the noise a little bit. This is with all fans at 12v, I'll be changing them all to 7v over the weekend to see how that sounds.
