Nvidia At Work On A Combined CPU/GPU

Yes I know it's 'The Enquirer', but apparently Nvidia are busy at work on an combined 45nm CPU/GPU project, a - la Intel and AMD, and due around 2008. For the moment it appears that the alleged Intel merger with Nvidia, couldn't be further from Nvidia's minds, and they're gonna go head-to-head. Do you think Nvidia could be successful competing with the likes of AMD and Intel? Feel free to comment on the article below...

I could definately see nVidia making a complete rapeage cpu. nVidia is the kind of company that likes to think outside the box, I can only imagine what kind of cpu technology they are working on. Goooo nVidia!
