Do your other BIOS settings get changed too? Maybe you need to reseat/replace your battery. Check the jumper too, make sure it's firmly in place.

the jumper is firmly in place and yeah the other settings are saved but the oc doesnt save :S

Maybe it's an unstable OC and your BIOS reverts back to safe settings?

Vaders on the money there, I think!

I know when changing bios on the max from 12 to 13 you couldn't have the same settings.

Start again and manually tweak your way back up... Let us know if that works. If it doesn't I'd be tempted to revert to the older bios as 13 provided 1333 fsb support ;)

Is there a 14? Try that.

Reset everything. Do a long cmos clear. Start again.

bios updates usually don't pose a problem and I've always been able to flash back to older ones no probs...

Check all your cables etc, if you've been messing around maybe something is loose

hi problem solved , i was so desperate i went back to the 12 bios now it works fine and im currently running @ 3064mhz :D thnx for the help

didnt know that a bios upgrade can hinder ocing so much :S
