hi.
a week ago i played X1 and the game crashed so had to do a hard reboot but the computer refused to boot so i cleared cmos and it booted just fine so went into bios to make some changes.
turned off floppy com lpt and firewire.
manually configured the memory and raised vcore from 1.4 to 1.5 and no overclocking and did nothing with could directly make a negative impact on the gfx card.
last night i turned off the computer and when i was to start it this morning it refused AGAIN but this time it beeped on me.
im fairly sure it was 1 long 2 short which is "Either video adapter is bad or is not seated properly. Also, check to ensure the monitor cable is connected properly."
was a bit in a rush so could have been 1 long 3 short which is " Reseat or replace the video card."
but i ended up clearing cmos and the computer booted fine and works fine although no cpu overclock at the moment.
could the problem originate from the gfx card or something else ?

does msi use amibios or award for the k8n sli-fi ?

1 long, 3 short Memory test failure A fault has been detected in memory above 64KB
