Node 304 Build // clearance for GPU?

Hi guys/girls.

Im buiding a new rig of new and used parts. Id like to be able to use my old GPU, psu and if i cant i'd have to change case to Bitfenix prodigy but i rather not.

Case: Node 304 (374 mm long)
PSU: AX850 modular (160mm long)
GPU: 7870 HD (260mm long)

Now my question is: "Will my 7870 HD fit in this case?"

not sure on the gpu clearance on that case but an alternative could be the coolermaster elite 120. link here

*edit* fractal designs website has this to say, "(Graphics cards longer than 170 mm will conflict with PSUs longer than 160mm)" but the modular interface of the psu might get in the way of the gpu... maybe?

I've considered that since that looks like a bargain. But then i cannot fit my huge Noctua NH-D14. As far as i'm aware only Node 304 and Prodigy lets me do that within this price range.

the elite 120 will force you to use a low profile cooler but will certainly allow your gpu to fit.
the prodigy will allow your NH-D14 and your gpu but then you will have a fairly large mitx case to deal with.
with the node you can use your D14 but may not fit your gpu without a shorter power supply.

if you really don't want the prodigy you will either get a LP cooler and a Elite 120 or will buy the node and run the risk of needing to buy a shorter psu (your psu runs very close to fractals set limits, but most likely the modular interface will get in the way if you use it).

properly :( I just like the look of Node 304 a lot more than prodigy. Im still thinking it might be possible to fit 7870 in node 304. Just really not much info on the subject.

Can always mod the Prodigy. Take off the handles, put some nice shiny casefeet under it and slap some brushed alu panels on.
