Noctua NH-D14 with Asus Sabertooth P67 board

Hello All,

new to the forum and would like some advise / help.

I have a D14 cooler amd have a new sabertooth board given to me.

with the armour "stab vest" covering the components will the D14 work well enough or will i really meed to get a downwards cooler to replace the D14.

Don,t really want to replace the D14 cause i love it !!!!!!

you shouldn't see any problems the black armor is there to cool the motherboard but is not really needed so more for show

your case fans should do the majority of the cooling

You shouldn't have any problems but if you do you could fit a 60mm fan in the housing for it in the M/B itself or just point a fan at it from the side door of your case.

I've got that combo and at teh time asked the same question. It all runs fine with a D14, no need for teh extra mini noisy fan or downward fan. I've got it all in a Silverstone RV02E case, so has some great airflow. Hope that helps.
