Hi All,
Been off the forums for a while, been mega busy at work last year or so.
Anyway, I'm back to share a new build which should hopefully be completed by the end of the week.
First parts came in today:
CPU: Ryzen 9 7950X
Motherboard: Asus X670E-I
Ram: G.Skill Flare X5, DDR5-6000, CL36, AMD Expo - 32 GB (2x16)
Storage: WD SN850 2Tb
GPU: AMD RX 7900 XTX
PSU: Corsair RM850x
Case: Fractal Design Torrent Nano
Cpu Cooler: Noctua NH-D15 Chromax black
Some notes:
- managed to bag the 7900 XTX on launch day for 1150 euros
- Was in a local PC builders shop listening to the NH-D15, its so much more quieter than most of the 240mm AIO's on the market today
- The newer model of the RM850x apparently has high quality Japanese capacitors that help provide cleaner power to components which it turn can help to cut down on coil whine
Still need to buy some braided PCIe cable extensions, will see if any go on offer in January sales.
