Nintendo's New Wii Console Attempts To Block Modchips

Nintendo is apparently getting edgey about the proliferation of modification chips available for their Wii console, and are issuing a revised console as a result. Are they fighting a losing battle against modchips? Feel free to discuss below...

Nintendo short of resources ... not a chance m8

although in recent times they havent been the most popular thay have always made a heap of money though various cash cows (pokemon etc) and unlike competitors they make a profit on everything they sell

But i agree engineer a better lock and someone will find a bigger rock to smack it with

Ye Ninty come up trumps in the making money on hardware stakes. They're banging their heads against a brick wall with this though and let's face it it's a tiny %age of their overall users
