So they say its to help all who bought it. fine if they win, ill expect my share of that settlement..... Sure there is a lot of bugs, but its been getting alot better for me. im lvl 71 or so, and i enjoy it. im mostly just overplayed it myself...

BC2 was a console game, but it never pretended to be a PC game (*cough* bf3/4). it is a very unique game in that matter, imo the only console fps that ever worked well. of course it wasn't a real battlefield game, but neither is bf3/4 for that matter, they certainly aren't anything like the old BFs. seems more like all of the fps franchises had a gangbang and now the kid can't decide what to be.
hi food i would like to point out that though i do agree their games are many many times more complex, that a quick search showed ea has 65 "shooting" games!
as i programmer i can say 95% of the time you spend building tools, assuming they documented their tools properly they essentially have 1 big game

as for the crashing thing, i would agree but sim city being broken was wayy more annoying than some of my games that wont start (if you cant start you dont crave)

Yea, Im gonna fork over another $50 for Premium when EA admits they are forcing DICE to stop work on it to fix the bugs on BF4 itself. Pay for expansion packs with unknown release dates for a game that runs like cr@p from the start and still does? :rollinglaugh::ar::crazy:

basically there treating it as an insider trading scam. So at most those who bought the shares at the lower price and cashed out while it was high will be looked at with scrutiny. IMHO those seized funds should be payed out to those of us who bought the game but cant play it. I pre-ordered it when it first became available to pre-order. So I waited MONTHS for it to release and got shite on a shingle for my $$ and time like the rest have.
EA are the sole reason that Warhammer online failed too. It needed at least 6 more months beta testing but EA forced it on the market. half the player base then quit after one month due to bugs. It just hardly recovered after that.
Shame really because it was fantastic and the Lore was amazing.

Yeah, I was so shocked (in the positive way) after buying BC2 - I actually only bought it because I have gotten a £20 GAME voucher from a friend of mine for Xmas.. I got hooked up instantly, haven't really enjoyed any game as much since Q3 and good old Counter-Strike. I had high expectations for BF3, not a bad game but not as good as BC2 imo, and didn't even bother with BF4 after the horrible BETA..

Game is unplayable
I did preordered becouse i did played beta and it was more likely playable. There was some crashes but hey, thats why its beta, to fix things. then i thought il make an pre-order with china rising dlc. Ok, payed money and thought it will be epic game when it will be released. The first thing i did encountered was endless crashes and unable to run the game at all in some situations. That wasnt the think i was expecting from finished product. Ok i thought il wait untill EA will patch everything. First patch.. same thing. Second - still unplayable. Third let me play some then ive got many WTF moments that is far from beying fun. They are thinking that game that is completely unbalanced, full of bugs and canonicaly is not skill but random moments based will be competitive. Pfff... The thoughts are now that when they started the campaing to advertise the game they seen how many of people are buying this. Then they hired entire team of devs to rewrite the engine almost from the scratch. You know why im thinking like that? The bugs are same as BF3 + alot of new ones, so they didnt learned ANYTHING and didnt saved anything from BF3, they just made entire new game. The fact that they released unfinished product i think will cost them like microsoft had to admit that Vista was a mistake and completely replaced it with windows 7. I strongly believe that if i get my money back from them and loose the cdkey i will be glat not to play it until its finished and more likely bug-free. I dont care how hard they work or how many of bugs are patched now, the game is not pleasant and im not buying a shit from them enymore.

How can they be sued for that and not every other game in the past 2 decades that has an EA stamp on it. Got NFS Rivals on the PS4 and can't connect to the EA servers and despite Origin being linked it refused to accept i have an account for that either.
Despite that the game is awesome tho

The game will just die, not much changes year to year for a game, some games like FIFA are let off because what else can change in football, but CoD is just getting ridiculous, I do think Ghosts is alright but its still just same old.

cod takes two years to develop, bf is already on the same level, in a bad way.
Two years but the same product every year.
two developers --> two years development per game.
bf4 is pretty much the same as bf3 as well
