They look ace mate! Will grey be the final color of the desk? Something to consider is where the desk will be placed and what colors the rest of the room is. Then again, grey goes well with basically any color.

The desk will be wrapped in a brush aluminum vinyl. I tried to get a color close to it on sketchup.

While the grills are nice, they look a lot like they will add a 'howl' or 'whistle' to the fans on them. Although with mesh for dust that may be negated.

If this is done as the good as the render looks than this could be one of the best desk thus far. Can't wait to see what you can do and the detail that will go into this build. You need to filter (double filter) if you must to keep it clean. That grill holes look big but fit the build beautifully.
