New YouTube Design (again!)

Hey guys,

In case you were not aware YouTube are about to drop yet another "new" design/layout on us...

This time around there will no longer be a custom background to our channel page. Instead we will get a Banner of sorts located at the top that will be responsive to allow it to be viewed on all devices (Desktop, tablet & mobile).

Whenever there is a new youtube update people always moan, but tbh I have never minded them, but this one I really dislike, it just doesn't look right :/

I actually quite like the look of the new design, but I will hold back my opinions until its finally rolled out... I'm looking forward to making a welcome video for the channel page! Will be good to see what TTL does for his welcome video!

My one wish is that the new design/layout makes it easier to discover new channels. Go back a couple of years in the recommended section you would see a massive mix of big and small channels, lately it is only populated with content from established "mega" channels. That is not a moan, just one little item on my wish list.
