CRAZYCAP

Hi Guys

Just thought I'd post that I bit the bullet and got rid of my Thermaltake Spinq for a Corsair H50. All installed fine and running prime 95 for 1hr didn't go over 45deg. The thing I am also impressed with is the silence. Silence is golden. Do you guys think it worth putting another fan on the front and what temp differences did people see when they did it. Let me know your experiences. Thanks team.

pics and a bit more description ;D

For the extra fan depends on what you want and need.

Inside your case is it positive or negative pressure?

How many fans at the top of the case do you have?

What fans will you use at the front? Noctua silence or jet-engine power?

oh and pics are worth a thousand words :-)

what CPU do you have fella

no noctua fans should be used for the RAD ither kaze 1900rps (bye silence) or another high RPM varient

some people have had better results with just one fan some have diff results with 1 fan

Here are my System Specs and I have attached a pic. I agree a picture tells a thousand words.

Case - Lancool PC-K62

Motherboard - EP45-UD3P

CPU - E8400 overclocked to 4GHZ.

P/S - Huntkey 900w

Graphics - ATI 5850

RAM - 8GB Ballistix tracer

Cooling - Corsair H50 + case fans supplied with the K-62

Storage - 64GB SSD (boot drive)

- 2 x 320GB Raid 0

- 1 x 1TB

You might also try a scythe gentle typhoon, 1450RPM, as they provide pretty good pressure and airflow and are very quiet.

Hi Guys, I have added a 1500rpm Xigmatek fan to my H50 to have a push-pull setup and I am most impressed with the results. I know it winter here in Aus but I ran prime95 for 2hours and the core temp on my E8400 (4ghz) didn't go over 32degrees. Very happy with the result!

Whats your ambient temps matey, seems a very nice temp for a 4Ghz OC on a E8400 ..... Looks at my water cooled rig and my temps

Those xigmateks are pretty nice, just bought one for my storage rig. Nice temps on the 8400, you may be able to shoot for some higher clocks now?

45c at load!!!!!!! dude you don't need to do better than that....leave it how it is.....that is an envious temp
