New to AMD O/clocking.

HI all,

I have just taken the Upgrade plunge, and for the first time have changed from Intel to AMD.

My current setup up is a P4 northwood 3.4 @ 4.08 (240x17) Vcore 1.87

MachII cooled.

with 2 x 512 OCZ DDR PC4400 1:1 4-4-8.

My new setup which i hope to have by friday (thanks to all for advice) will be

DFI Lanparty NF4 SLI-DR

2 x 7800GTX

AMD 64X2 4200

600W Power Supply

I have no idea what O/C level I should be aiming for or what settings to start tinkering with, so your advice would be welcomed with open arms.

A couple of good guides for help with overclocking amd cpus. Will you be using stock cooling or water etc on the gpus? I presume you will be cooling the amd with your mach?

Yes that right, the machII for the CPU and the 2 GPUs will just be stock cooled.
