new screen time :)

U'd be better off with the Samsung, given the choice of the 2, mostly as it's maximum resolution is actually 1920x1200. A maximum 1920x1080 screen would pish me off tbh. Maximum 1920x1080 screens are a cop-out to give a user a screen capable of viewing movies, but imo gaming looks and desktop use is a bit sucky. Ofc the ratios are correct for movies, but hey.

It appears oos at the link, but ebuyer are selling it, aswell as dabs

yep i was kind of swinging towards the sammy, tbh if the only downside is black borders when watching HD movies then that dont bother me at all :)

I dont know what ex display means from somewhere like ebuyer but as i am aware they dont have a showroom in the factory?...

Anyways take a look at this one, http://www.ebuyer.com/product/168056

It looks like you get 1920x1200 and rgb / dvi / and hdmi connections aswell as getting £15 cashback, however that works.

Ask tinytomlogan about them as he has 2 and he seems impressed.

Good luck finding the right monitor.

tbh i dont like this bit

Product Condition

Cosmetic Damage - The item is damaged or scratched but fully operative

that could mean anything, imagine buying it and its got a scratch on the screen, i would be gutted lol

Yeah i never saw that part.

Usually its just the box thats damaged.

Oh well i would still get a samsung over any other monitor.

make sure you getting a glass screen not the TFT film... The glass is better for in home use and do offer superior video. TFT film usually have a light bleed especially the 24 inch most likely you will have some... I have HP 2408h 24" hi-def the monitor has no light bleed and its great for watching hi-definition games and movies (porn looks so much better, LOL).

Its better for you to go to store in person. In case you have a problem it can easily be resolve without spending extra money...

With the size of monitor you want most likely you will have problems with it mostly the light bleed besides the dead fixel.
