Has been a while since my last post, but you guys have been great in the past, hopefully you can shed some light.
I have 2 Acer V223HQV 1920x1080 monitors, and while working on the desktop browsing they work fine...issue comes when I load up a game.
After a minute or so, the second screen starts to flicker and then just shuts off, remains off until I close the game and unplug re plug the monitor.
I've tested this on two cards. HD 7750 1GB and and GTX 570 1280MB and both do the same, however it seems that the 570 takes a little longer for the screen to shut off...
I've read that switching Windows Aero off also helps, and I tried this and i was surprised to see that it does help (or seem to) a little bit extra. Both monitors are VGA only, and I have them connected to the DVI and HDMI ports through adapters.
Im guessing this is a VRAM issue, but I cant be certain.... I have a 7870 2gb coming on thursday as the 570 is like a jet engine and needs to go, and also hoping that the 2GB vram should solve it.
Or am I being a numpty ?
