New mouse mat required!

Hello All

Well as you guessed by the title i am in need of a new mouse ergently.

I wasnt sure if a mouse mat was classed as hardware but i guessed it was

Anyway my current mouse mat came with my first ever computer in 1996 (had windows 95 on) and i have used it since then. So its a decade old and being used with some of the latest technology on my desk and kind of shows everything up. Just to make sure everyone understands what i am rambling on about, look at this:

It has been worn in though and is very comphy and works well with my laser mouse so that is not why i am replacing it.

I am replacing it as it spoils the look of my computer and when i get my new desk setup it will look rediculous so i am in need of a new one.

Any ideas?

I've got a Ratpadz. Worked well for a few months, but its worn out now so i wouldn't recommend. If you've got some cash to splash get an icemat.

I rock a Ratpadz GS and absolutely love it, it never skips with my G5 or my MX310 and the glide surface is orgasmically fanstically slippery as a wet seal.

Razer Mantis speed here, theyre huge and are similar to the old 3M pads, and iirc similar to the Allsop Raindrop that you had before. They're excellent mats.

I've got a bt mousemat, which is a little shameful.

Gel pad on my mat still gives me gyp every now and again though, it does glide well so gets put up with but a new purchase is required shortly, methinks
