New Motherboard - Bent Pins

Send it back for RMA with the socket cover. May want to call first to see if they will accept it because many places will instantly blame the buyer for damaging the pins and will not replace it.

Thanks but I don't think I can, I bought it from a third party seller on Amazon...?

It'll be tricky and risky trying to bend the pins back by yourself, so definitely try see what sort of returns policy they have because if it arrived in this condition, they really ought to sort it out for you

IF you go very carefully, they will bend back. You will need a good magnifying glass and a very thin pin.
I received a motherboard from Aria with a bent pin and (after a lot of chasing) they refused to replace it, so I was forced to do a self repair.

I borrowed an illuminated magnifying glass from work and I managed to bend the pins back with a jeweller's kit to the point where two pins are perfect and the third is only ever so very slightly off.

I connected my monitor via the onboard VGA and only connected my HDD and my RAM to my mobo and this time I get a flashing red DRAM LED. I disconnected my HDD and I got the same thing.

How can I determine whether this is an issue with the processor, motherboard or RAM?

It could still be that one pin. That bent pin on mine was causing memory problems. Try just using one stick of memory, and place it in one slot at a time, each time firing up the pc to see if it is picked up in the bios.
