their are problems with the vrm's on the ud3 board

I have thought that the major issues were fixed with rev.4.0.
Maybe that's not the case then.

not sure about the rev 4, but i know up until the rev 3 it was still a major problem.

correct it seems reports show the rev 4.0 is alot more stable. But heres the issue aint no etailer I'm aware of gonna guarantee you a rev whether it be 1.0 2.0 3.0 or 4.0. There gonna grab the first one off the shelf and ship it. Unless Gigabyte recalls the other rev's. Which is highly unlikely. So that in mind look at a tad higher end board. Like the UD5 or other offerings. The UD3's tend to be on the lower end of their line up.
