New Members: Post your introduction!

Hello filekutter been seeing ur posts u crack me up man neways are u maybe *cough* eccentric *cough* just a little if u r then keep at it.

Hey guys, just checking in. I've been a member for a few weeks but haven't been too active as yet. Nice to have a place to go that isn't full of fanboys. Whatever works works. Gigahertz may sell CPUs to n00bs, but the rest of us rely on benchmark results. I might have a budget rig but the most important component is the guy sitting at the keyboard. Am I right?

Howdy Y'all I'm not new to oc'n or modding by any means but saw some youtube vids and liked what I saw so far out of this forum so I figured I'd register and check it all out maybe learn some new tricks while I'm at it lol.

welcome all newbies

Enjoy your stay

Hi All

I'm not new to overclocking, but my new system, i7 980X Extreme & Rampage III Extreme seems to have So many options, it's now got a bit more complicated and confusing

So many Bios options, with not too obvious ways of tweaking?

I'll have to keep an eye open here for suggested methods.

Hi, long time lurker and finally registered; PotatoHead here-Mr PotatoHead to you guys

Great to eventually get round to joining the community and enable me to formally praise the work that OC3D does, informative, useful and usually detailed enough to help with those important choices, but all done in a simple and informal manner, it's a winning combination.

Hats off to the guys behind it all, oh and prepare to be bombarded with questions as I embark on a full build myself for the first time!

Hello! Only just found this thread but still relatively new. Found Overclock3D from TinyTomLogan's YouTube videos and you've already been very helpful with a couple of my problems. Brilliant forum

Hi, just signed up so saying hello.

I've found the reviews and videos helpful and informative, nice to see some straight talking. Not just saying everything is great even when it isn't and then giving good reasons why.

Thanks,

Dave

hey i'm kshitiz (gaming alias is deatheater)...

i'm not new to this stuff but i haven't got too much to play with...

my best overclock being Intel Pentium E5500 (stock 2.8GHz) running at 3.4GHz with stock cooler(yes stock) with a shitty motherboard (some company called ECS)...

and btw tiny tom logan rocks!!!

he inspired me in the first place...

Just saying Hi! Love the videos, really helpful as I am planning to upgrade to a new rig soon. So far I am using a 3yr old Medion PC that has a MSI 7502 motherboard. Its runs really well expecially now I've bumped upped the memory to 4GBs DDR PC2-6400 and replaced the gfx card with a HIS ATI Radeon 5770 1GB and put in a 650W PSU. Never tried over clocking it as probably factory locked. Still its nice n quiet and plays Just cause 2 v well.

Hope I can give to this forum as much as I get!

Emma

Hola,

Love the vids, awsome reviews...truth will be told! I like that.

I have those cards 2 emmaz in, crossfire they are rubbish tbh. so dont buy another one for xfire:) going nvidia soon fed up with ati now..but always have this burning pride in using AMD cpu's since back in the socket 939 days.

Built pc's for years now and made so many mistakes in the past im actually quite good at it finally

I like silent/quiet gaming builds..sooner choose lower dBa over performance.
