New Members: Post your introduction!

"Hey Ya'll," from Alabama.

Day one in the group. I'm looking to start a couple of minor upgrades via overclock and RAM and this seemed like the right place to learn.

I do have some software/hardware background. At least enough to know that I don't know enough.

A paradox, isn't it=)

I'm running a AMD BE 955, Msi 750I sli mobo 4gb of Corsair XM3 mem, Water cooled, and 2 GTS 250's in sli. With a OCZ Fatal1ty 550 PSU. As you's can see i really need some New Cool gaming parts

Hello everyone!

I have come here from the aria forums (lovely bunch of chaps)

Came here because over the last month I have been planning my new budget gaming PC and the oc3d videos that I came across whilst using them led me to some great reviews.

In the end I have ordered a lovely new PC and will soon be bothering you with tips and requests of how to get the most out of my new system I am sure .

Thanks

Einholt

Hello guys and gals.

This is me introducing myself...

I am a nextgen games console developer (PC, Xbox360, and PS3) and avid PC Modder/Overclocker. I currently build PCs for friends and anyone else that can afford them.

My current rig is:

CM Storm Scout

Asus M4N82 Deluxe

AMD Phenom II X6 Six Core 1055T (OC Stable @ 3.6)

CoolIT Vantage Liquid CPU Cooler (2x Akasa Apaches Push/Pull)

Replacement 120mm Akasa Apache Super Silent Fans (with filters) for all the case originals

Antec TruePower Quattro 1000W Modular PSU

Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium - Fatal1ty Professional Series 7.1 Sound Card

2x Sound-activated internal 12" LED striplights

OCZ Gold Edition 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 PC2-8500C5 (@1200) w/ Geil LED RAM Cooler

Sapphire VAPOR-X HD5850 1GB GDDR5 PCIE (OC'd)

3x WD Caviar Blue 1TB 7200rpm

Samsung SH-B123L/BSBP 12x BluRay

Logitech G19 Gaming Keyboard

Razer DeathAdder Respawn 3500dpi Xtreme Precision Gaming Mouse

2x IIyama Prolite E2472HD

I am awaiting the arrival of the latest bulldozers (and benching) before i decide to upgrade my mobo. I am seriously considering the latest Asus Crosshair IV Extreme, as I will only need to buy DDR3 for it.

Also, because of the lucid chip I can put my old GTX480 on it for physx.

I hope I may be of help to someone one day on here

Hello guys!

I have been looking into modding and hardware related forums for a VERY long time now. And I can tell you that i have found my place on this earth.

Talk to ya later!

I've been watching Tom Logan on YouTube for a while now and thought it was time to join the forum. Building computers has been a hobby of mine for several years now and it's always good to get new ideas. I have currently been considering an upgrade to my current system. But do I upgrade my GTS 250s or get a new case? Money is kind of tight at the moment but I have about 200 to put into it. I'm a student at the moment and time is also kind of tight as well. I'm studying business and want to make my hobby into a business some day. Maybe give Dell a run for their money. Who knows. Well if anyone has any suggestions on which upgrade I should look at please let me know.
