Hi all

I have been watching Toms vids on YouTube for a couple of months now.And thought it was time to join the forum.

Well i got into computers back in 83 with the classic Sinclair Spectrum (wipes a nostalgic tear from my eye)

Bounced around from different machines over a few years (C64,Oric Atmos then got an Amiga)

Bought my first PC in 1990 which was an Amstrad 5286

The spec of that pc was

Intel 286 @ 16mhz

1 meg of mem

Adlib soundcard

40 meg hdd (i could just about fit Wing commander 2 on it)

Happy holidays everyone and i hope santa brings you that new bit of hardware you want

Hello from the US, this is the first non US biased forum I have ever joined. Just joined because of the competition, but I am sure I will be lurkin around for quite some time.

I have built a few of my own computers over the years. I entered the data for my current build during registration.

I had been messing around with pc hardware since I was 12, and have been constantly messing with PC parts since then. Now my job is PC repair and maintenance for a small company in my town. At work I mostly deal with low end workstations for offices, but its still fun non the less.

Hey from Australia!

Been working heavily with computers for the past two years, building and overclocking pc's that is, and always want to learn more.

Merry Christmas to all, be it white or sunny (like where i am)

Hello, i'm from Australia.

I'm here because other PC hardware forums i've been to haven't been very informative.

I hope to expand my knowledge of everything PC related. I'm a total noob, so be nice :<

hey, I've been browsing the forum for a long time as a guest and have been watching the comp vids on YouTube and finally decided to set up an account... oh and merry crimbo all

Hi all,

IT guy from Guernsey, new to the site as my rig just packed up and finding the site / vids great for information on new hardware that I may decide to upgrade to.

Was running a intel E6750, but my MB appears to have given up the ghost so probably going to take the opportunity to upgrade to a i5 760 and OC it 4GHz, just a bit of pain as I just treated myself to a PS3 and GT5....grrr!

Well you never know, I might win one of the competition rigs and save some cash while getting a beast of a machine!

I'm not sure how I missed this sticky. Hi all, new member here, but not new to overclocking, been working with it for about 10 years now. :-)

I'm a US member living down in Georgia

Ummm... hi? Uhh.. Filey here, and just want to say thank you to OC3D for being here... and hopefully to the rest of you geeky peoples. I thought I knew all I needed about OC'ing, but to be honest, that was a few years ago and now I"M almost back to square one. And loving it ! Umm....I"m alive, I don't have oodles of money and now the new amerikan recession is even making it worse. Oh well... excrement happens eh? hehe. To the crew here, thank you so much for invaluable information. I'll be not only putting it to work but using it to slingshot to even more knowledge as I roll onward. And to the people here, well... I hope your cooling is adequate and your aim is straight. And if you play the game I do... I hope you're honorable. *bow* *griN*
