New Members: Post your introduction!

Hi Jim,

Thanks for the quick response which makes sense and was sort of what I was expecting. There is an eVGA card and I believe one from XFX that have Tri SLi but do they have the same restriction i.e. on 2 PCI-E2.0 slots? I read a tri SLi review on Guru 3d's site of the new 280 architechture and it seems to scale in some cases on the eVGA MoBo. Is this wiorth thinking about? I like the ROG ASUS bios having used the orgiginal Stiker Exterme in my build last year.

Talk soon,

MDMT

Hi,

I'm new to this sight and forum in general so be kind on me if I make 101 errors :)

I have built an air cooled overclocked PC last year and this year am looking to build a water cooled PC.

Cheers

MDMT
Welcome to OC3D mate and if you need any advice for putting your rig under water feel free to post something up. :wavey:

Hey guys, this is Jokers_greg. I'm new to Overclock3d, but now new to overclocking itself. I hope to help whoever I can :wavey:
:):wavey: Hello to you too mate

cheers, do you know if any one on here has a 64x2 5400+ cpu as i've just fitted a decent fan and its gonna be time to start oerclocking it, hoping to get it to 3gz to begin with.

:wavey: Hello Arch41c welcome to the forums. I guess you would call it a lucky mistake then that you landed here. You should be able to find all you need to know for your upgrades.

Ello folks, found you all by mistake while planning a rig transplant and watercooling upgrade ;P:P

:wavey: Hello mate and welcome to OC3D. What are you upgrading to and what plans have you got for water-cooling it? Feel free to start a project thread and post heaps of pics and/or questions if you need some help :)

well following a minor mishap (left bleed screw and fill cap open ;P) which managed to somehow fritz the gpu, I was forced into upgrading it to the 260gtx...

So am transplanting my current rig from its current NZXT Zero case into a Lian Li A77 pre cut by the kind chappies at Aqua-pcs....

And upgrading the 120.2 to the 120.3 and redoing the piping etc etc (though i may re-introduce it later if i ever get around to WCing the NB/SB and mosfets)

So the WC components are the Swiftech Apogee GTX, EK block for the 260, PA120.3, 1.2" barbs and 7/16" and DDC with plexi top.

Going with Feser UV Black and black primochill anti kink coils :P:P

Sorry to hear about the mishap, although you'll have a great little system when you've finished. We expect lots of pics ;)

Haha served me right for not paying attention, and sorta kick started the whole upgrade thingamajig ;)

Be about 2 weeks or so till i start, holiday getting in the way of builing who would have thought it :P:P
