Hi Guys,

First time poster and soon to be PC gaming virgin! I'm looking to build my first custom PC. I don't want anything to flashy to start with as i don't want to constantly saving for the next big thing!! Got about £600 - £800 to play with tops and i'm hoping you guys will help steer me in the right direction.

I'm now attempting my second pc by modding a Lian Li V2000 into a Silverstone'esque air-cooled case.

And i'm already stuck! haha!

Hi everyone, I'm Serge, signed up some time ago, had no time to contribute (graduating this year.....).

I'm sort of a noob with a bit of knowledge, first rig I had was P4 based, with 9600Pro

back in 2004 (which I cant really say I built myself, but upgraded a couple of things later on).

I'm gaming on my oc-ed laptop (3yrs old), recently managed to run MEII with stable 30FPS

but its getting too old to run anything new (Witcher 2 will be a first game I wont be able to play

). This is why I decided to build a new rig (after I graduate and find a job, that is), good thing I found OC3D, a lot of useful stuff here.
