New Members: Post your introduction!

Good day everyone, I'm Jeremy from Sutton, Surrey in the UK. One of my main interests is building game related stuff - arcade machines, driving simulators, gaming desks etc. Hoping to contribute to the community with some ideas and suggestions.

Lol, i just saw all this, and i suppose im still a new member - seems a bit AA meeting in here.........

Hi - im Lefty, ive been suffering from 'spendtoomuchoncomputers' and im afraid it will escalate into 'mymrswillkillme'.

So im here too learn tons about overclocking so i can get every ounce out of my hardware while i build up the courage to tell her im spending more of our money on 'useless computer junk'.

I've been practicing in my head, 'im sorry dear, but my bonus is gone, it went on a new rad, motherboard and cpu, im afraid we wont be doing up the bathroom after all' then i was thinking of breaking down like in eastenders and crying out 'oooh the pain, its an addiction, its not my fault, PEER PRESSURE!!!!!!'

lol,

anyway, im from Essex, work in central london, spend too much time & money on computers but love it and i gladly work on other peoples rig just for the hell of it.

See ya around!

I was interested in overclocking my CPU and I started doing research and came across tinytomlogans vid on youtube about the gigabyte motherboard overclock guide which in turn led me to this forum.

Hello everyone, I'm LaMonster32.

I'm not new to forums but I've never been
active on them. And this seemed the right site and time
to start with.

I've been active with computers and technology since
a young age, so I learned quite a bit. And hope I can help
people on this forum.

English is not my native language,
so not all the answers will be fluent.

Hello everyone i'm kinda new to building and overclocking and i won't be building anything for a while yet, but i hope to learn useful things from all of you.

Hello there!

Hello to everyone.
I've joined this forum as I plan on building a new computer for myself. Nothing too flashy, but flashy enough (for me) to confuse myself! I currently own a quad core AMD system that I bough 2 years ago from a shop as an upgrade.. since then I decided to learn about specs and parts so that I could build something I liked. Now the time has come and I will hopefully build and successfully overclock a pc....with a little help.
Cheers!

Greetings

Hi, I have been reading these forums for a while and figured I may as well join up, so here I am.
I have been in computers since before gui's and have been building my own systems (and ones for family and friends) for several years now.
I am amazed at how much there is to learn even still with something new every few minutes it seems. :)
I am a family man with kids a wife and a mortgage so I cannot spend what I'd like to on the hobby, plus I have several other hobbies that compete for time and resources. I am an aquariist specializing in Lake Tanganyikan Cichlids, a bicyclist (also own a custom bike shop doing repairs, maintenance and new builds) an artist, and as I said a family man.
I am glad to meet you all and will enjoy asking questions here from time to time.
