New Look Chat Thread - And Bug reporting

EDIT: just had a bug, I clicked post but then it said wait 30 seconds etc, but I already posted it =/

Yep, Though i think the what's new is currently showing todays posts rather than what you have/havent read. I'll get that fixed

the shopping tab did not appear to work for me? will check again and report back.

Ok just checked and noticed that it says coming soon, It would be a better idea to have those words as a mouse over until it is here

Yeah our shopping section has been outsourced, so we are just waiting on them to fix some bits before we go live with it. Shouldnt be long though.

was just nosing about and noticed these pics were oversized, might get that problem with other pics on other posts?

Yep unfortunately none of the old vBulletin 3 plugins work on vB4 so we'll just have to wait (or use http://sqi.sh to resize)

also noticed the quick reply and reply are the same and no smilies visible unless you know the codes.

Clicking advanced before posting shows the codes but no image of what they satnd for, (this is on the right of teh screen. The drop down for smilies works ok though :awhip:

Will the background change? Not really into it. it's to dark, doesn't match the brightness of the forum.

Probably just me though, I do prefer full size sites.

Yeahback ground is just a sponsorship thing for the companies that have helped fund the new site. In a month it will be back to a much lighter background.

Hmmm... only seems to happen when in the forum.

Plus is it possible to incorporate some sort of link that is not obscure that leads to the frontpage? Clicking on the logo leads to the forums.

Adblock plus might be blocking it.

Lemme run FIrefox in SafeMode to see if any of my problems are fixed.

Yes Adblock Plus is blocking some of the ads.

Mind you I click on some of the ads as some of them intruige me.

The only graphical / layout error I've spotted so far is this

Only comes up in Firefox 3.5.6, fine in IE6 (couldn't try others as I don't have others)

i get the same thing on chrome aswell
