Hey guys and gals, I am in need of another keyboard. My Saitek II Eclipse has broken :(, I've been looking at the Apple keyboard for some time now.

Would you guys say this is a wise choice? Need something that is nice to use.

Thank you.

Yeah

There are better ones out there in the market, not sure what kind of prices you're looking at for an Apple keyboard. I use them at school a fair amount and they're pretty nice for fast typing. Only thing I don't like about them is the caps lock key, you've got to like smack it with your finger really hard.

Still, I'd say its pretty good.

anythin from logitech take ur fancy?

my saitek (original eclipse!) is rubbing its keys off now lol, so i too will be looking soon

prolly avoiding "gaming" keyboards tho

Same, the W+A+S+D+C keys have gone now.

I have been using the Logitech dinovo edge for about 2 years now and its great, battery life, wireless range and durability are amazing. Only negative is the glossy finish which fingerprints love

keyboards are all the same to me ive had tesco TRUST and logitech G15 but ime using a Cherry ATM its awsome was about £8

I folded and went for the Apple keyboard, typing with it now and OMG is it so nice to type with! I don't know how I did without it before :(.

I was looking at the Apple keyboard. But how the hell do you use it at night without lights on? (My girlfriend goes to bed before me so i turn off the lights)

That's a good idea, but I like the heavy keys of my Eclispe II. The apple one does look sexy, but looks way too light for me. But Aluminium!!!!

yer imre a heavy key fan, buti do like the sound them apple's make like a nice tappy sound sound realy precise

After many years of playing games in the dark and having my keyboard under my desk (where the keyboard slides out), I think I got used to it and can touch type. I type all my messages by looking at the screen, don't need to be able to see the keyboard.

I can touch type too >< But when playing certain games that require me all over the keyboard it is a bit more difficult.
