New Gaming Rig - HELP

Hello, as the Title says, i'm planing a new gaming PC which will be my First PC Build ever, But am unsure with what parts i Should Use. This is what I Was Thinking of :

• I7-3930K
  
• ROG Rampage IV Formula
  
• Corsair 650D OR Bitfenix Shinobi XL
  
• Corsair AX850 PSU
  
• Nvidia GTX 690 (When it Comes Out)
  
• 16 GB's of G-Skill Ripjaws Z
  
• iNTEL 520 120 gb ssd
  
• Western Digital Caviar Green 1TB
  
• Corsair H100
  
• 2 X Noctua NF F12 Fans (For the H100)
  

It Will Mainly Be Used For Gaming, But I Will also be doing light Photoshop work and Some 3D CAD Design

I Would Greatly Appreciate any Suggestions you have for the Improvement of This Rig, so Leave a Comment With your Opinion, and I Will Read them With Intrest

Fantastic specs there mate, only thing I'd do is change the SSD to a Crucial M4 or Samsung 830, but IRL you probably won't notice much difference anyway. Be sure to post pics when you build it!

Yes, I Was going to Go for the 3960X But For Nearly Twice the Price of the 3930K, It was un-viable, especialy because i'll be overclocking

Possibly, but the Corsair Braided Cable Set make more sense for me because of less clutter round the Back and Stuff, but i'll leave the door open for the Alchemy Cables

That would have a been a bad decision. You would have been paying a lot of money for no apparent performance improvement!

Looks fantastic. However, one thing to watch is the SSD because in the UK the Mushkin Chronos is super cheap compared to its competitors yet it performs just as well. So if you find the Muskin Chronos for a great price compared to the Intel 520 i'd say go for the Mushkin instead, but if not just stick to the 520

On how many screens are you planning to do your gaming on?

Imo the 690 and 7990 are going to be waaaay too expensive for what they have to offer... Better stick with 7950/70 or 680 and go crossfire/sli when the time comes.
