New gaming monitor

Well need ur expert help guys for finding a great 24" gaming monitor. Been looking at a few so far and i'm really pushing towards a LG W2486L-PF, but can't find a review anywhere its a LED screen. LINK BELOW:

Also looking at SAMSUNG SyncMaster T240HD 24" which runs a better res and has a tuner 2 hdmi ports. Lots of things basically but i heard its not great image quality.

If anyone got some ideas on good ones or knows anything about these be great to hear ur feedback.

Ive got 2x T240's and it made such a massive difference when I changed over from my old Asus MW221U's.

Im so happy with them Im getting a new Sammy screen for the shed aswell.

I may be stating the obvious but the Pixmania link to the T240 states an incorrect screen resolution. It's 1920x1200.

Whichever monitor you choose, I would most certainly suggest a 16:10 aspect monitor for the additional pixel height. 120pix (1920x1200 over 1920x1080) may not seem like a lot but it does make a difference when you're not gaming (general web browsing/word processing etc). That'd be my main gripe about the W2486L that you posted up.

T240 is indeed an amazing screen... looks stunning,crisp and sharp images, deep contrast, no ghosting.... you should really go for this if you want one for gaming....

lol, i grabbed a dynex 37" 1080p hdtv from bestbuy yesterday, its 399, 475 after eco+tax, pretty friggen nice so far i must say, we found out it is the new 2010 model and is using an MVA samsung/sony panel.. check it out at redflagdeals

using as a pc monitor, haha, its hilarious, im Mook06 on those forums also
