Before anyone says anything about this being a fan and it should be posted in the air cooling forum, they are designed for watercooling so they are in here :p

Just received an email from Specialtech about these new fans from Feser designed for watercooling.

55mm thick!! :o Oh yeah and very expensive!

Here is the image with the blurb and also the link directly to the site The dudes voice on that site is gonna seriously get on your **** very quickly!

They claim for the low speed fans (1200 RPM) - 21DB / 61.6CFM

For the medium speed fans (1800 RPM) - 30DB / 88.4CFM

Both with high static pressure. They also reckon operating voltage up to 13.5V.

Don't get me wrong.. I wouldn't buy them in a million years at that price but a few things interest me about them.

I'd like to know how much they lie about the specs and how they perform. See if being 55mm's thick has given them more room to create something a bit different that keeps to what they state (unlikely).

Not worth the money, I have two, That they supplied me, when they liked me :).

But they not really good fans, they just have a shroud on them and are 55mm other then that, you can have a 38mm yate, then 25mm yate gutted, and it would be better and a lot cheaper.

I think they look rather cheap actually, more of a ''free fan that came in case that gets quickly replaced'' look

There are a couple of reviews around the interweb that basically say "over-priced and don't work".

Hang on a minute. Something from Feser that's overpriced and doesn't work very well? Surely you jest. Unheard of ;)

Insert cat noise here ........................

Not all of it is bad, the rads are good but expensive, thermochill is the only rad worth buying in the UK, great price for a great product.
