New desk

so i have finally gotten an new desk




nothing special but looks better then what I've had for the last few years so I'm happy.

this is what I've had since about 2011.


sorry about the pics took them on my phone. if anyone has any suggestions on how to make it look better feel free to say so.

Nice new desk! I find them so hard to find, if i like them they are crazy expensive! It looks like one of those snazzy Ikea desks, now a nice amount of space to work with!

To be honest I liked the style of your previous desk more. Gives more room and you don't have to put your case on the floor. Just my opinion

its not an ikea one but is the same sort of build quality to it.

I have the same mouse pad on your old table. haha. Nice upgrade. Now you don't have to feel cramp.

haha well the old one was more a tv table then anything ells, i think it was something like a ft high so wasn't the best thing in the world. and me being 6ft 2 made it impossible to sit there even sitting on the floor it was to low for me to use.

there two draws there also quite big but a bit flimsy in the middle so mite put a piece of ply the same size and screw it to the bottom to make them a bit stronger.
what desk to you have mate?

That's cool, drawers sound handy! Sounds like a plan Ah mine is just a bit old, it's a corner desk and takes up so much room (i swear i measured properly :lol and loads of wear/marks at the edges (it's like a really beach colour... laminate of course ) Something like that would be pretty sweet.

*I didn't edit in time, before i realized i spelt 'drawers' wrong, dangit :lol:

You have to really make the computer clean, I can see a lot of dust on it and it does not look nice in my eyes and so will many others say here.

But i like the new desk alot better then the old one

cool man and spelling it wrong wont bother me im dyslexic ( that's a bitch to spell) and if i get any words wrong point them out to me, it all ways help when some one corrects me

i know i know its so bad ive been meaning to clean it for a while. i need to get some compressed air soon to do that. and also get my lazy ass to do it,but that's a whole other story

Yea compressed air, i saw a few times at like £10 a time, i was like... no way am i paying that!!! I saw on ebay though that dust off one for like £5 or so, so snagged one a few weeks back! I'm a bit ocd, i clean my keyboard/desk with dettol stuff everyday pretty much lol (damn me eating at my desk )

haha yer I was looking on ebay for 10 packs for about £20 so when I have some money I shall be getting some.
and as Etlar pointed out I needed to clean out the dust out of my case. so today that was what I did I also tuck off the ROG sticker on the side pannal, and not knowing how to clean acrylic I pretty much f**Ked it up. so now I'm going to make a new piece of acrylic that will fit and shall be selling the case on because it don't like it that much.
if anyone would be interested it buying it let me know. Is a cooler master storm scout with know window in it at the moment.

That's a pretty nice deal 10 for £20! I remember looking on amazon, they were so expensive! Nice on cleaning your case! I have to keep an eye on mine, as i smoke (my case i haven't put parts in yet - had to look for how good filters were etc ) But damn on your window Is it a lint free cloth etc.. you needed? At least you can make a new panel/window part though What case were you considering/like the look of?

I used isopropyl alcohol to clean off the glue and well its just fuked now don't mind to much tho
I'm looking at the 750D I just like the look of it, its big enuf for me as I only have a MATX board and gives me the room to put a bigger board in a water loop etc.
