New Cooler for my GTX 570

Ok well i got an Nvidia GTX 570 pretty cheaply (Around £150) and it is a PNY GTX 570 Referance Design. I plan on trying to Overclock it a lil to try and get a bit more performance. But in my opionion the card reaches high temperatures (Mid 80's while playing BF3) with the stock fan option. But when i try and keep the temps at a 70 mark the noise coming from the card is well, LOUD

So i wanna get a new cooler for the card and i have been looking at some of the arctic cooling coolers for the cards. I would like to get any feedback and any feedback on this issue would be helpfull ;]

I personally use an Arctic Cooling Accelero XTREME on my HD5870 and it is simply amazing. I definitely recommend one. It will be whisper quiet and you can overclock the heck out of it! Well worth the money.

I'd go with the Artic cooling Accelero Xtreme like Liarma said, I'm actually considering getting it for my 570 as you're right it is way too loud and a tad hot for my tastes a channel on youtube called PCmoddermike has a few videos on the accelero with his pair of 570's check them out if you want to hear them or see how they look installed.

Just Looking at the Video comparison now, Might look at the prices of this little unit. I would go for water cooling but it is a bit too expensive for me ;]

I got myself a PNY GTX 570 for £135 and overclocked it to 800/1600/2000 without any problems. I know it isn't an amazingly high overclock, but it managed it on the stock cooler without any major temperature changes. I have also been considering using a VF3000F as research has told it will fit. But I like the look of the PNY stock cooler much more. May make the jump when I decide to go SLI.

My vote would be the gelid icy vision as its only £30 and even on 100% fans the air noise is pretty damn quiet, probably comparable to my vf3000 on a 40% turn give on the speed controller give or take, i have the artic cooling twin turbo aswell and thats also very quiet compared to the vf3000 and im assuming its the same fans as on the AC extreme, its a touch louder than the gelid on 100%.

Gelid icy vision > artic cooling > vf3000 would be my choices in that order.

The gelid cooler can also be plugged into the cards on-board fan header and my twin turbo also could be so im assuming the extreme will be the same, the vf3000 (unless i lost the cable) needs a manual adjuster and its a bit of a pita as it means i have to open up my case if i wana bump the fans up as apposed to just doing it in afterburner like the normal cooler.

The AC twin turbo on my 8800gt with a heavy OC loaded at like 65c on auto fan, the gelid icy vision on my 5870 with an OC loaded at 60c on auto fan and this vf3000 on my GTX580 loads at around 60-65 with the fan on a touch over minimum on the controller depending if im overclocking it or not.

Also note my room is VERY warm 99% of the time as it has 3 towers allways on + snake tank heating so the ambient probably raised the temps a few C and the load temps are from folding or furmark, gaming you can knock 5-7c off each ones load temp easy.
